The chase for a dream
I have looked to the
north and to the south,
And I have greatly lost
my word of mouth.
I hope each day that we
could fly slowly like a moth,
And looking at love and
life I guess I hate them both!
I guess it is because I
want you to be a part of it,
Without you I really
cannot stand on my feet.
It seems love is the
strongest emotion,
In my life it has caused
great commotion.
To heal my heart thought
you had made a contribution,
Yet I could not read the
sign of your own emotion.
I only wanted to make
love our own creation.
To heal our broken
hearts we were going to try,
Because it never was my
intention for us to cry.
Living my life without
you is a real curse,
It seems we have at hand
a real case.
Two loving hearts are
never meant to race,
But it seems I cannot
keep up with your pace.
In the world of love
they talk about striving,
I guess there is a
reward for striving.
Again in the world of
crime they talk about forgiving,
And I guess there is a
reward in forgiving.
The reward of all is
happiness,
But a curse of all is
sadness.
It seems love is now a
crime,
And am now willing to
commit a crime,
A crime that will get me
thrown in a dungeon,
A dungeon that’s in the
heart of the world of love,
The world of love that
many are not willing to leave,
And I wonder why anyone
should make me leave.
Love is not an arena for
competition,
Neither is it a round
table for negotiation.
It is a fact that I love
you,
And my love for you is
true.
I will not give up till
the day you will say I do,
Because your love is my
chase for a dream
